Certified E-Learning Manager
CeLM - The Lifelong Learning Porgramme, Leonardo da Vinci project
Transfer strategy:In this ITP project CELT (Certified E-Learning Managers Transfer) the results of two former EU projects will transferred to the market in form of job role based training and certificates. In PLATO (E-Learning project, 2006 – 2007) a new strategy of online learning systems has been developed and the knowledge about using such potentials will be transported. In EQN (European Qualification network) a partnership of 45 raining institutions in 18 countries agreed joint quality criteria and common certification rules which are applied across the different European regions in the Life Long Learning scope in the IT and services sector.
This resulted in a pool of professions in which a high level of European comparability has been achieved by a Europe wide agreed syllabus and skills set, a European test questions pool and European exam (computer automated by portals) systems, and a common set of certificate levels and a common process to issue certificates.
In this project the skills acquired in the PLATO project will be structured in a skills set, integrated into the European exam and certification platform EU Certificates, and transported in form of online courses.
Transfer need:
The change from traditional to distributed multinational European projects requires new forms of skills to keep the labour force trained. E-Learning managers become an integral part of training departments in leading organisations. And there is a growing community of e-learning providers who miss a certification for their job role.
Transfer objectives:
- 130 trained e-learning managers
- Qualification accepted by the EU Certificates association, certificates issued by certification body ISQI following the EU certificates rules and applying the European exam portals established in EQN
- Trainer base of 20 trainers in Europe
